Aid the priest on the altar at Sunday Masses and other liturgies. Must be at least 10 years of age.
This committee plans and implements the seasonal decorations providing an environment that promotes spirituality for each season of the Church.
Distributes communion at Sunday, daily and other Masses.
Proclaims the Word of God at Sunday, daily and other Masses.
Provides the music that enhances our worship at Sunday Masses and other liturgies.
Sets up before and cleans up after Mass. Also keeps the sacristy and all liturgical items in order.
Ushers aid the parishioners in finding seating at Mass. Takes up the collection. Helps the communion procession go smoothly.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Give yourself an opportunity to spend some quiet time with the Lord in silent adoration and contemplation. The Adoration Room is in the back of the chapel and is open from 9:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Legion of Mary
Members of the Legion of Mary meet weekly, pray the rosary and do spiritual works of service. They help with the celebration of the sacrament of infant baptism, visit many of the sick at home or hospital, and welcome new members of the parish with a home visit.
Small groups meet to reinforce each other in living a Christian lifestyle. Generally the groups meet once a week for prayer, learning, sharing and support.
A seminar that helps couples learn about the personality style of their spouse, how to improve communication skills and what is God’s plan for their marriage.
Ministers of Care
Ministers bring compassion and the Eucharist to fellow parishioners who are sick and home-bound and unable to attend Mass. It is a service that is humbling, bit is a significant means of sharing in Christ’s healing power.
Ministers help family members with the liturgy of the Funeral Mass. They are a support to the grieving family in the time of their loss.
St. Vincent de Paul
Inspired by gospel values, St. Vincent de Paul leads men and women to join together to grow spiritually by offering person to person service to those who are in need.
Helps foster development of Catholic Social Teaching and assists parishioners to act on charity, legislative advocacy, global solidarity, and community organization and development.
Fellowship of Catholic Christian Women
An organization that helps women grow in their faith and relationship with God. Essential elements include evangelization of women, building a faith community and promoting the development of the spiritual life of every woman.
A Spanish speaking group that devotes its time to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Knight of Columbus
A men’s fraternal organization that dedicates its work to the betterment of the Church. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted amount its members and their families.
Young Ladies Institute (YLI)
A women’s fraternal organization that dedicates its work to the betterment of the Church. Elements include deepening spiritual awareness, forming friendships, and providing charitable support.
